Abstract
As school districts move to the 1:1 learning environment, innovative ways to use technology in the K-22 classroom are becoming increasingly important. As we are all aware, our K-12 students and pre-service candidates regularly use digital resources to communicate with others and to extend their learning. To provide guidance for our learners, it is important for teachers, teacher educators, and professional developers to be aware of the effective educational apps available. This presentation will showcase educational apps that are currently used in a variety of settings, including exceptional education classrooms, as well as regular content area classrooms (e.g., science, math, language arts). Documents will be shared that provide a list of recommended apps and ideas for instructional applications.
