Shari Rone-Adams, DBA, MS, PT, GCS, recognized as the IJAHSP reviewer of the year for 2007.

Dr. Shari Rone-Adams, DBA, MS, PT, GCS, a resident of London, was named the IJAHSP "Reviewer of the Year - 2007" for her outstanding volunteer efforts as a peer reviewer. This recognition is given to the reviewer who has provided extraordinary service and support to the editorial efforts of the journal and who has provided authors with invaluable assistance in writing their manuscripts. Shari's reviews are always detailed and right on the money.

Dr. Rone-Adams has a doctoral degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Physical Therapy Degree from University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL.

She is currently a fulltime lecturer and clinical education co-ordinator in Physiotherapy at Brunel University, West London, United Kingdom, where she is currently Chair of the Physiotherapy Ethics Committee and serves on the School of Health Services and Social Care Teaching and Learning Committee. Her current project involves the development and implementation of an on-line MSc in Physiotherapy.

Teaching commitments include research, communication, and basic skills, as well as education of clinical instructors. Dr. Rone-Adams is also an adjunct faculty for the College of Allied Health and Nursing, Physical Therapy Program, Nova Southeastern University, since 2004.

Credentials include experience in a variety of clinical settings as clinician, manager / administrator, clinical instructor, and consultant for the past 25 years. She has served as the Director of Clinical Education in Physical Therapy both in the US and currently in the United Kingdom.

In conjunction with Dr. Debra Stern, she is a past recipient of a grant from the American Physical Therapy Association to investigate alternative models of clinical education. Dr. Rone-Adams has numerous publications and professional presentations in the areas of clinical education, health policy, and professional education.
