Yasin Çağlar Kaya, PhD, y.caglarkaya@ktu.edu.tr Yasin Çağlar Kaya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Karadeniz Technical University, where he also serves as the Head of the International Law Chair. He holds an MA in International Law from the University of Sussex and a PhD in International Relations from Karadeniz Technical University. His research focuses on security studies, international law, political violence, and human rights. Kaya has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to edited volumes on topics such as humanitarian intervention, migration, and normative frameworks in international politics. He has also presented his work at numerous national and international academic conferences. His recent publications engage with the legal and ethical dimensions of emerging technologies in armed conflict. Kaya continues to explore the intersections of law, strategy, and global security in contemporary international relations.
