The daily grind of health care service can be grueling, and if not careful, the professional can lose track of physical and mental wellbeing (Williams, 2011). Growing awareness in both practice and research has led to emerging evidence in the use of mindfulness activities in cohort with other traditional strategies (Dobkin & Hutchinson, 2013). This presentation will provide evidence base on mindfulness from different areas of occupational therapy, and support from occupational science (Watters, Pearce, Backman, & Suto, 2013). The author will share doablemindfulness strategies to add to routines and habits into the individual’spattern of daily living activities.
