The OTD curriculum complies with ACOTE(R) B.6.0 standards on scholarship as embedded in all courses, and through a sequence of 6-courses* from research design to dissemination. The sequence starts with a course on evidence in occupational therapy practice, with students becoming consumers of scholarly resources and consumers of scholarly resources and using technology to search and analyze collected data. It also provides didactic and lab courses research proposal, methodology, IRB approval, implementation, data analysis, reporting, and publishing, each step guided by a faculty principal investigator and mentor.
