Abstract

Textbook affordability is an increasingly pressing topic in U.S. higher education. In this presentation, we discuss the process of reaching out to faculty members about textbook affordability, and facilitating their efforts to adopt open course materials. Research about the effectiveness of open materials in three courses will be shared.
