Sarah Hanisko earned her PhD at Nova Southeastern University in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Her dissertation research was conducted on Generational Memory in Irish Conflict. Her research interests include the roles of history and memory in conflict, war and peace in Science Fiction and Fantasy and conflict in Ireland. Her undergraduate degree in History and Anthropology was earned from Weber State University (2003) and she completed her Master of Social Science with Syracuse University (2010).
