Abstract

Qualitative Methods for Health Research (5th ed.; Green et al., 2025) is an introductory textbook that provides an overview of qualitative methodology as it is used in health-related fields, including public health, healthcare delivery, and medical science. It provides instruction on theoretical principles, core methods and their implementation, and related topics such as developing research proposals and publishing study results. This new addition includes updated content and new content pertinent to recent developments that have affected health research practices, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and broader awareness of the impact of colonialism and racial discrimination.
