Description
This presentation takes an innovative approach to learning by illustrating the development of a new tool to capture proprioceptive processing difficulties in children with sensory processing and related disorders. It describes the process of instrument development, patterns of performance in typical and atypical children and its psychometric properties. Item description, selection and analysis of specific factor loadings are described in detail. The presentation finalizes introducing practitioners to the use of a web-based platform to aid in their clinical reasoning process when formally assessing children with suspected proprioceptive-based difficulties.
