Executive Summary

Strategic Research Plan for an Education Institution. Anthony Bishop, 2024: Strategic Research Project, Nova Southeastern University, Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. Keywords: F2F, learning management system, hybrid learning, faculty, retention, evaluation.

This strategic research project was designed to provide stakeholders at my chosen educational institution with a strategy that can be implemented to resolve an identified problem. The identified problem that this organization faces, which was identified in this SRP, is the low retention rate of full-time faculty at this institution. A thorough examination of this institution was conducted in this SRP, and multiple strategies were examined to determine the most effective strategy that could be implemented to address the identified problem effectively. After the examination, it was decided that the best approach to resolve the identified problem would be to implement an online faculty training program for instruction at the college.

This program will provide faculty with training in online instruction. The training will teach faculty how to use the school’s learning management system (LMS) to design and implement learning content for their courses. The training will provide faculty with the latest techniques, tools, and resources to effectively provide learners with online instruction. This SRP includes an action plan and steps to implement the training program. The SRP also covers how the training program will be evaluated to address any gaps identified after implementation. This SRP also identifies potential obstacles that can hinder the program and provides solutions for overcoming those obstacles.
