There was one training session held on each of the five areas of concern. The program supervisors at the center scheduled all treatment staff to attend the sessions. The sessions were held while the residents were attending school. In this manner, all the residential staff were able to attend.
The results of the training sessions were measured and evaluated by administering a pre-test and a post-test on each of the five topics. Results of the pre-test and post-test indicate a significant increase in knowledge of this material presented in the sessions. A follow-on result of these training sessions is the development of a comprehensive operation and information manual to enable the treatment center staff to conduct ongoing training in the future. Appendences include the pre-test and post-test for each of the five topics.
