Abstract
This practicum was designed to address the educational needs of preschool children who are hearing impaired and who also exhibit additional disabilities and medical conditions. The problem of how to effectively meet the educational needs of these children within the public school setting who demonstrate a number of developmental needs that can not be aet by one individual or program was dealt with in a three-part solution. The first component of the project provided a class that had access within one setting to all the various services providers for each of the educational needs of the children. Secondly, the parents were informed of the child's abilities and disabilities and the services available to meet the child's educational needs. The parents were encouraged to be active participants within the integrative process that would serve their child. Third, an integrative service delivery model program was developed and implemented that coordinated all of the necessary services required by the children to provide an optimum educational setting. All of the goals and objectives for this practicum were meet resulting in positive benefits for the team members and for the children who where the recipients of the project.
