Take a tour of TOPkit to reap the benefits of its research-based tips; adoptable, adaptable resources; and community. This website and community was designed for those who are responsible for faculty development or who prepare faculty to teach online or hybrid courses, according to the State University System Board of Governors 2025 Strategic Plan for Online Education Tactic 1.2.3. TOPkit, although designed for higher education, contains information for anyone responsible for faculty development across industry and educational institutions.
During this active learning session, you will have the opportunity to engage in a scavenger hunt of the resources, to include:

Checklists and rubrics for creating a customized assessment process for their own unique institution’s needs,

Sample faculty training course for download and adapting,

Tools, techniques, and strategies for incentivizing faculty participation in faculty development,

Content considerations imperative for your institution to legally address, and

You will also be challenged to dive right into participating in TOPkit, after walking the plank, by:
