Short Description

Our Class-in-a-Box kits are our attempt to extend our technology and education know-how, together with a unique learning experience to those who cannot attend our programs at our current locations. These kits allow children to learn at their pace, from the comfort of their home/school, in their very own way. Take their time, visualize, experience, and learn what it takes to become part of the next generation of engineers! Parent/Teacher supervision might be necessary in some cases due to the complexity of some of the subjects and terms. The only things they need are an open mind, and a willingness to learn.

Abstract

Unbox your Potential - STEM Classes in a Box - The Future of Hands-On Education

Our mission is to bring a solid STEM education to all children that will enrich and complement a better-suited program and will allow them to be able to deal with newer and ever-changing technologies.

To fulfill our mission, we offer our Engineering Skills for Kids programs, classes, and camps in South Florida which attract students from all over the world but are geographically limited.

Our Class-in-a-Box kits are our attempt to extend our technology and education know-how, together with a unique learning experience to those who cannot attend our programs at our current locations. Since distance learning has become the new norm, we at Bright & Smart are ready to embrace and be part of it.

The FDLA Conference is a perfect venue for Bright & Smart to collaborate with distance learning community during this presentation/workshop and have them experience and evaluate our Class-in-a-Box kits and visualize how the can use them in their homes/schools/institutions with their children/students. Therefore, help them successfully embrace the distance learning opportunity.

Our Class in a Box kits are complete hands-on Activity / Lesson in a Box. Included in this Class-in-a-Box are three of our step by step lessons used successfully on our very own Bright & Smart Engineering Skills for Kids Summer Camps. Building blocks, paper, pencil, and, if required by the lesson, a Bright & Smart USB flash drive with the necessary software, real hands-on parts to build your very own robot! No soldering, hot elements, or power tools needed! Sometimes the only thing they need to have access is to a laptop computer and access to the internet.
