Description

Currently, Dr. Strimbu is the Chair of Public Affairs Committee for Florida State Podiatry Association. She is a podiatrist in private practice in Hallandale, Florida since 2002, having graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with a Doctor of Podiatry Degree and followed by 2 years primary care podiatry at Cedars Medical Center in Miami. During her residency, Dr. Strimbu has done research at the University of Miami together with the director of the endocrinology department, Dr. Luigi Meninghini, which resulted in a published paper (Evaluation of a patient self-administered monofilament test for diabetic foot problems; Published in: Diabetes.52 (supplement1): A194).

Dr. Strimbu also has experience working with the students as she served as Adjunct Clinical instructor for Barry Univerisity School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery for 12 years. She is the Vice President for the Dade County Podiatry Medical Association, Member of Florida State Podiatry Association, Member of American Podiatric Medical Association, Member of American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics, and Member of American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management
