The Call for Proposals for the 2026 LEC Virtual Teaching and Learning Conference is now open, and we'd love to have you present.
This year's theme: Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI
We're looking at how faculty are designing courses, engaging learners, assessing learning, and creating meaningful educational experiences in a fast-changing instructional landscape. AI is part of that conversation, but the conference isn't limited to AI topics. We welcome proposals on effective teaching practices, course design, assessment, student engagement, faculty development, and the responsible use of emerging tools.
Conference format:
- Pre-conference workshops (90 minutes): Monday, Nov. 9 – Wednesday, Nov. 11
- Conference sessions (30 minutes): Thursday, Nov. 12
- All sessions held virtually via Zoom Events
You can submit a proposal for either a 90-minute workshop or a 30-minute session. The full Call for Proposals includes details on conference tracks, session formats, proposal requirements, and review criteria.
Key dates:
- Proposal deadline: Monday, Sept. 14
- Notification of acceptance: Week of October 5
