Brief Bio / Description of Interviewee

“I remember fishing for the first time with my grandpa and I remember catching a catfish or like a mudfish. I like saltwater fishing. I'm trying to get into freshwater, but I've always done saltwater fishing. One of my buddies is into freshwater and he's been trying to teach me. It’s not that fun though, it’s more artificial. Also, it’s not like you’re going to catch something for sure. In saltwater, you are more than likely going to get something. If you want to introduce someone to fishing, you don’t do freshwater fishing. The biggest fish I’ve caught was a Mackerel, it’s my favorite fish for sure. I like going to the ocean. There are always mountain or ocean kinds of people. I'm definitely an ocean guy. I like fishing because it's like a break; even if you don't catch anything, it’s fun. It’s like if you enjoy trying out these new knots, then try out knots. If you want to try a new bait, you can. Also if you like going with other people, which you typically do go with at least one other person. You can just talk and chat. It’s a great time!”
