Brief Bio / Description of Interviewee
My mom has a saying like, no matter what, everything is achievable no matter how you have to get there. You can get there and that’s always been with me. That's been her mantra from the time that I was a struggling reader to the time that I was struggling through school and she just said you can do it. You can do it and you can do it. And honestly it did it. A motto that I live by is “just keep pedaling.” Just keep swimming like Dory. I’m just going to keep on going and that’s kind of my motto. Even when I was diagnosed and sick, it was just kind of like you just put your head down and just do it. Keep powering through and have an end goal in mind. When I was sick, it was to make it through the illness and with school, it was to survive and graduate with high honors.
