Abstract

The effectiveness of a GED training program was assessed by comparing the test scores of chose who completed a training program with the test scores of a control group of examinees who did not take the training program. The pass rate of the two groups was tallied. At test was use to analyze the English, reading, arithmetic, and total test scores. A chi square was used to analyze the pass rate . All t-values were significant at the . 05 level of confidence. The chi square was significant at the . 05 level of confidence. The results of this study is being used as one of several evaluative components of the training program.
