Description

Counselor education training programs should be familiar with real world issues that are faced in the schools regarding crisis situations. Counselor educators must also ensure that their students are familiar with relevant state and national standards and ethics. This presentation provides a topic overview and discusses the outcomes of specific cases. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of legal and ethical school crisis issues and the ensuing implications for practice and training.
