Description

The ACA Code of Ethics (2014) describe the role of faculty as gatekeepers for the counseling profession, with an obligation to ensure that counselors-in-training can effectively serve their current and future clients. This mandate paired with the 2016 CACREP accreditation standards result in a need for assessment of students’ dispositions and consideration of student remediation. This roundtable outlines practices related to dispositional benchmarks as well as subjective and objective measures.
