Abstract/Excerpt

Educators should make a conscious effort to improve the quality of personal interactions in schools if campus violence problems are to be solved. They need to personalize their schools, strive to build school communities, and work to form relationships with all children in the school. Ways of personalizing schools and how school boards can help are outlined.
