The biology program at Nova Southeastern University provided an incredible foundation that shaped both my academic and professional journey. Through rigorous coursework, hands-on research, and mentorship from passionate faculty, I gained not only a deep understanding of biological sciences but also the confidence and curiosity to apply that knowledge in meaningful ways. What I valued most about NSU was the personalized learning environment, the professors truly cared about their students’ growth and success, which inspired me to do the same for mine. To current students, my advice is to stay curious, ask questions, and take advantage of every opportunity to get involved in research or collaborative learning. Those experiences will not only strengthen your understanding of biology but also open doors you never expected.
