I can say without reservation that the Biology program at NSU is excellent. In my experience, faculty in the Biological Sciences Department at NSU make it their mission to ensure students can develop and pursue their personal goals. NSU's biology program left me ready to succeed not only on the medical college admissions test, but also in various experiential activities like fellowships and research. My mentor Dr. Schmitt taught me; get out of your comfort zone and remain involved within your community. I carry that advice with me and pass it on to future students!
