Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a form of technology that has become a significant component in all our lives, especially those of students and instructors. AI serves as an automated, robotic entity that simulates human learning; it is able to rely on basic input to generate outlines and ideas for papers meant to satisfy any academic requirement and is seen as a helpful addition to the modern classroom. However, instead of relying on AI to enhance critical analysis and ethical reasoning, this artificial language model is frequently used to complete entire academic projects with little input on the part of the author. Instead of allowing AI to be a generator versus a guide or assistant, a new view of academia today is crucial. This artificial system is capable of helping students in higher education to be successful in their academic endeavors, but the purpose of how to use AI must be honored and assessment of final results must be modified to meet current intellectual needs. Rather than simply assign a letter grade to a course requirement, a process that is outdated, even archaic, a more effective learning model is now needed. The results of this adaptive tutoring system will prepare students for the world of work by applying competency-based curricula to help learners master their academic interests.
