Description
The International Human Cadaver Prosection Program a t the Indiana University School of Medicine – Northwest is a summer program extended to high school and unde rgraduate students who are seeking a career in healthcare. As a participan t, you receive the opportunity to prosect anatomical donors to learn more about human gross anatom y, radiology, and embryology. The program gives students the opportunity to complete radiology tests such as X-ray, ultrasounds, MRI, and CT scans. Students are able to work under the guidan ce of medical professionals such as surgeons, physicians, radiographers, anatomists, prosth etists, and orthotists; gain suturing skills; and, complete a total knee arthroplasty. This progra m is a life-changing and humbling experience that gives you the chance to learn about human dignity, respect, and professionalism.
