Abstract
Dalit Representation in the Federal Government of Nepal is the main problem now. The Dalit members of parliament of each party are struggling to participate in the Government’s Cabinet. All Governments of Nepal are ignoring to ensure the Dalit representation in the cabinet. Although the constitution of Nepal adopted the inclusive principle, it does not implement in the cabinet of the Federal Government of Nepal. Dalit members of parliament face opportunities loss in each cabinet of Nepal Government. But it is gaps in research till now. What is the reason behind it not implementing the legal provision? Is it human error or is it biased due to caste discrimination? This article is about the exclusion of Dalit members in the federal government of Nepal. This research article is based on secondary fact data analysis. After the new constitution of Nepal, the Dalit community thought that they had equal rights and equity to access all levels of the Government of Nepal. It is improving but not as per Dalit’s thinking perspective. Thus, this article discusses on factors of why Dalits do not include as ministers in the cabinet. Is it biased toward the Dalit community? Is it a modern type of discrimination by the Government? Is it the same as Janga Bahadur Rana’s exclusion law for the Dalit members of Parliament? What do you think? You will get the closest sociological perspective regarding it in the article. The Government of Nepal should ensure the minister from Dalit members of Parliament in each new Federal, Provincial and Local level Government to sustain the Democracy in Nepal.
