Abstract

In this presentation, I will share how PAR has changed me both as a researcher and as person with a disability and embrace Applied Phronesis. PAR serves to emancipate knowledge rather than treat it as a commodity. Additionally, I will discuss praxis and phronesis as they relate to PAR. I will demonstrate how PAR aligns with social constructivist theory and, by working systemically, PAR becomes a mechanism for discovering a meaningful delivery of psychological services to the disabled community.
