"Taking Mediation, Human Factors, and Facilitation really helped prepare me for my first job. A lot of people look at me to teach the Resident Assistants how to handle roommate conflicts which is one of the problems that freshmen face when they are attending college. So far whenever there are roommate conflicts that the Resident Assistants can’t handle, I step in and successfully mediate the conflict. I feel that the instructors of the conflict analysis and resolution classes help prepare you for the situations that may come up throughout your career. It also helps expand your mind and causes you to think differently when confronted with a conflict or situation."
