Undetected Exoplanet Populations in the Galaxy
The observation of stars and their planets in our galaxy have been made significantly easier with the advent of more efficient telescopes in ideal locations lacking light pollution. Exoplanets, however, are still difficult to identify because of the limitations of technology. Thus, a large fraction of exoplanets has not been detected. In this poster, we explore the populations of exoplanets that slip though current observations. We discuss what exoplanets will be discovered by more sensitive telescopes and advances in observation technologies. We describe the properties of these populations and ultimately show how common these exoplanets are.
