Effectiveness Analysis of Email Marketing Campaigns

Businesses usually spend significant time, effort and money on e-mail marketing campaigns. They are interested in evaluating the effectiveness of their campaigns, so that future campaigns can be optimized. In this project, we analyze e-mail based advertisement campaign or a specific business. We investigate the relationship between the number of links and the number of clicks in each e-mail campaign using the Pearson and Spearman statistical tests. We show that adding more links in a given e-mail campaign does not increase the user’s interest. We also calculate summary statistics for the number of links and clicks.
