I stood there, not even knowing of his existence, and he approached me with a cheap line.

Who woulda known he would throw me off, and sweep me off my feet?

I shoulda known, from the bottom of what was left of my needy heart,

He came, to say hello, and a possible talk. How much I would give to return to the innocence

of adolescence. To feel as confident, yet knowing my unsurpassing

naïveté.
