Development Assistance for Peacebuilding has an ambitious scope which tackles some of the greatest challenges that aid organisations, international interveners and national governments face in fragile states and conflict zones. The editor, Rachel M Gisselquist, is well-equipped to evaluate them. She is a senior research fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research and works on state fragility, governance and democratisation in the developing world, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
