This is the latest contribution to the "Popular Culture and Philosophy" series that includes titles such as Seinfeld and Philosophy and The Sopranos and Philosophy. The general aim of these titles is to popularize philosophy, as when a stuffy professor gets hip and assigns one of these books in her Philosophy 101 course at the local college or when one of these books is read by a generally literate audience curious about philosophy's value in making sense of our world.
