Treating Gambling Problems is part of the Wiley Treating Addiction Series and is specifically geared toward health service providers and family members of individuals experiencing gambling addictions. The authors report that gambling is an emerging public health issue, and note that research findings indicate the prevalence of gambling problems behaviors has increased over the past decade (p. xx1). In light of this growing problem, the authors provide a user-friendly resource guide for practitioners and families of individuals with gambling problems.
