Tara Spiecker is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Writing at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wellesley College (MA), where she concentrated in creative writing. Although she considers early modern British literature and drama to be her primary area of expertise, her other scholarly interests include poets, authors, and artists of the Romantic Period, race and gender studies, virtual studies, and zoology. As a writer, Tara enjoys creating poetry, memoir, historical and speculative fiction, literary criticism, and drama. Her hobbies include studio art, fencing, archery, historical re-creation events, and enjoying the outdoors.
