Author Bio
Zain Deane: Zain Deane is an award-winning writer and editor originally from Karachi, Pakistan. He is the author of five nonfiction travel books published by W.W. Norton & Company, Inc., and editor of three Michelin guides. Zain’s short fiction has been published in NEWN Magazine, Byline Magazine, and featured in the 2010 Anthology of Pakistani Literature. His short story, “The Man of Emotions,” won the 2006 Writers’ Journal Fiction contest. Most recently, his story “The Four Deaths of Valerie” was a finalist in the 2021 Royal Palm Literary Awards.
Mike Greene: For the past forty years, he has owned radio and television production companies. He spent three years as a management consultant to Fortune 1000 companies and has been involved in his community in South Florida and sat on the Boards of agencies and organizations that he thought would improve the lives of his fellow citizens. Mike sees himself as a storyteller. He has been telling stories in electronic media for fifty years and has just started telling stories in book form..” He has written and published his autobiography, “My Boring Life”. He has written and published fourteen novels and is currently writing more.
Cheryl Reibel: Cheryl Reibel published the book, Resilience, a book of illustrated poetry based on the real story of a Jewish child or teenager who lived through the Holocaust. She grew up surrounded by Holocaust survivors, including her own family, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Cheryl studied Journalism and Public Relations at New York University and spent a semester at Tel Aviv University studying History. She received a certificate in Human Behavior from the New School in New York City, and then taught social stuidies from the University of Delaware. She volunteered at an inner-city high school helping young people transition into adult life.
Nathan Elias: Nathan Elias is the author of the novel Coil Quake Rift and the short story collection The Reincarnations. His writing has been named a finalist for the 2022 National Indie Excellence Award, the 2022 Eric Hoffer Book Award, and The Saturday Evening Post 2020 Great American Fiction Contest. His books have been highlighted in BuzzFeed and Electric Literature, and his short fiction, poetry, essays, and book reviews have appeared in numerous publications. He serves as Events and Marketing Manager for the Broward Public Library Foundation and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
