Abstract
CloudSource OA, the new open access content platform from SirsiDynix, is now available as a new search option below the main search box on the library’s homepage. CloudSource OA aggregates metadata for articles, eBooks, eTextbooks, and Open Educational Resources (OER)—including online courses, lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and more—all with rights that let the user use the resources under open licenses. Course Lists streamline the creation and management of course reading lists. Learn how to search and retrieve full text content, how to curate OA/OER collections, how to create a course reading list using the Course Lists Bookmarklet, and how to access course list information in an intuitive, comprehensive student interface.

Rick has more than three decades of experience with SirsiDynix including support, product management, business development, marketing, and sales. Formerly leading the Asia Pacific region, he now drives SirsiDynix’s vision and strategy for Academic libraries. He also leads the Pre-Sales Solutions group, which leverages the BLUEcloud platform’s robust extensibility (through REST web services and JavaScript, primarily) to develop creative and innovative solutions for libraries. Rick also leads our new Content Solutions team, which leverages the vast body of global open access content for the CloudSource platform. The CloudSource OA solution was released in 2021, and in 2024 CloudSource+ will launch to expand the index to include licensed content and related holdings management tools.
