The Preprint Citation Index is a new database on the Web of Science platform linking preprints from leading disciplinary repositories to the trusted Web of Science ecosystem. It is an aggregated, standardized, standalone database used for staying current with novel research while maintaining confidence in the resources researchers rely on. We will explore how preprints benefit early career researchers, facilitate broader collaborations, support multidisciplinary literature discovery, and enhance researcher profiles.
