Abstract
The growing number of research publications exacerbates the peer reviewer shortage. The average manuscript is turned down twice before a reviewer agrees to evaluate it. In this session, we’ll learn about the advantages of being a peer reviewer, how reviewers got their start and what they learned along the way. We’ll also identify tools and practices that make tracking and publicizing your peer review efforts easy. This session will include a panel of NSU veteran peer-reviewers and a Publons peer-review profile expert.
