Description
This image was taken in the Tongass National Forest, near Glacier Bay National Park. We had taken out a boat on the water early in the morning, and were circling around orca pods and puffins. Eventually, we stumbled upon this rocky island that allowed only a small glimpse into the sea lion colony resting inside. This photo, featuring small pups, a battle scarred mother, and several others showcases the quieter moments in chaotic lives.
