Description
I took this photo at Lake Jesup laying down on my stomach on a dock protruding about 10 ft from shore. I did this to get as close as I could to the waters surface without having to get into the water. All of a sudden a gator arose from the depths and I began shooting, and with some time I caught this photo. I focused on the eye of the gator to capture the vast array of detail and color it holds, and as a bonus there was a small bug on top of the gators right eye in the background.
