Description
Green iguanas are one of three species of iguana that have taken to living all over Florida. These spiny lizards are a great representation of one of more than 500 invasive animals and plants that now called Florida home. Since invasive species don't have local predators, they cause several challenges for native animals by devouring their food and destroying their habitats. Invasive species are a huge conservation issue that is battled all over the globe.
