Description
I took this photo during a scientific expedition in the Colombian Pacific. We were looking for endangered small hammerheads with the local fishermen, who sadly catch them as bycatch on a daily basis. Here, the fisherman was using a cast net to catch some bait that would later be used in a longline with more than 600 hooks!! (you can see them at the bottom left in the picture).
