Description
I found this large group of sanderlings, gulls, and terns huddled together on a somewhat chilly afternoon. I'm kind of a shyer photographer and these guys had attracted another couple to take shots of them, so it took me a while to get the nerve to pull my camera out of my bag and capture them. They had zero interest in us and kept their little heads tucked out of the cold.
