Description
This pelican was awaiting fishermen to filet and discard fish carcasses over a cleaning station. This pelican had a hole in his pouch, a hook still inserted, fishing line out of his mouth, and a large pole protruding out the side of his neck (not pictured). The fishermen called animal rehab personnel prior to the photograph. Practice safe fishing practices.
