Description
Jeju-Do is a volcanic island composed of basalt and lava, located about 60 miles south of South Korea. The coastline varies from volcanic structures to long stretches of sand, to crashing waves against cliffs. This picture shows a small beach on the north side of the island. On the mountain seen in the picture there are trails, crops such as the patch of bright orange flowers seen in the middle, and animals such as goats and horses. This is a small area where the ocean meets the volcanic rock that makes Jeju Island so unique.
