NSU Undergraduate Law Journal
About This Journal
The NSU Undergraduate Law Journal is an annual academic publication showcasing the scholarly work of college students in Nova Southeastern University's Undergraduate Law Program. This peer-reviewed journal provides a platform for undergraduates to engage deeply with contemporary legal issues, offering original research, thoughtful commentary, and legal analysis across a wide range of topics within the legal community.
Each year, selected student-authored articles are published after a rigorous editorial process managed by undergraduate students enrolled in a specialized course titled “Undergraduate Law Journal.” This semester-long class offers students hands-on experience in legal publishing, including editing, fact-checking, and journal design. Participants in the course gain practical insight into academic publishing and legal writing, while developing the critical thinking and editorial skills essential to future legal professionals.
Articles featured in the NSU Undergraduate Law Journal reflect the diversity of legal interests among our student body. The journal not only highlights student perspectives but also contributes to the broader conversation of legal studies among undergraduate college students from a fresh and innovative angle. By combining academic rigor with peer-driven initiative, the NSU Undergraduate Law Journal stands as a testament to the talent, ambition, and scholarly curiosity of NSU’s undergraduate law students.
We invite readers from the legal academic community, professionals, and aspiring students to explore the journal and discover the compelling voices shaping the future of the law.
