Abstract
Nova University: Academic Programs and Research
Nova University is an institution of higher learning with programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy in the behavioral sciences, life sciences, and oceanography.
The Doctor of Education (in elementary and secondary school administration and community college teaching), the Master and Doctor of Public Administration, and the Doctor of Education in Early Childhood Education are offered in an off-campus format. Additionally, the Juris Doctor is offered in law.
The Master of Science degree is conferred in the following fields:

- Biochemistry
- Business Administration
- Counseling and Guidance
- Computer Science
- Criminal Justice
- Elementary Education
- Environmental Science
- Experimental Oncology
- Human Resources
- Learning Technology
- Microbiology
Research Philosophy
Research is directed toward the solution of problems that are of immediate concern to mankind. In view of problems being generally interdisciplinary in nature, the University is organized into research and study centers, each of which contains a group of closely related academic disciplines.
