In the 1980s, Dr. Stephen Goldstein, Vice President of Community Relations, organized and began the Forum Series, a long-running tradition at Nova Southeastern University. The Forum Series consisted of a luncheon or dinner along with a distinguished speaker who came to discuss their life and work with members of the Nova Southeastern University community as well as Broward County residents.
Many of the Forum speakers were immortalized in paintings by various artists. These illustrations, occasionally signed by the speaker, are presented here for viewing.
The collection will continue to grow as staff of the NSU Archives unearth additional artwork, digitize and upload them to this series. Staff are also working to build out the accompanying information with each image. If you have any additional information to add, please feel free to contact the NSU Archives at 954-262-4642 or nsuworks@nova.edu
